In the heart of Krkonoše,
in the valley of the Kamenice River

The Trio Harrachov apartments are located in a tranquil part of town, while at the same time close to all services. The project is set in a valley of the Kamenice River, at the foot of the Hřebínek mountain, which features the bobsleigh track and ski slope that is a mere 200 m. from the apartments. A ski lift that goes up to the popular Čertova mountain is a short (600 m.) walk away.

Harrachov, together with Špindlerův Mlýn and Pec pod Sněžkou, is one of the three most popular mountain towns in the Czech Republic. The history of skiing in this quaint little town goes back to the 19th century, when Count Harrach introduced the first skis in the Czech lands.

Today, Harrachov is a modern town with a full spectrum of amenities. It offers excellent opportunities for many different sports and outdoor activities all year round.

Of the three mountain towns mentioned above, Harrachov is the most easily accessible from Prague, Dresden as well as Wroclaw. It lies in the western Krkonoše range, near the Jizerské mountains and the Polish border. The area around it has maintained is original character and is ideal for summer and winter tourism.

So Many Activities

The slopes above the town are laced with bike paths, hiking trails, and cross-country tracks. Cyclists and skiers can also ride on buses that will take them up to one of the nearby mountain tops. Other easily accessible activities are golf (nine-hole golf course with an indoor simulator), white-water rafting on the Jizera River, ropes course or paragliding.

The most popular tourist destination in this part of the Krkonoše mountains are the Mumlavské waterfalls. There is a pleasant trail to the falls from Harrachov along the Mumlava River. Every year in early spring, thousands of protected white crocuses bloom in the nearby Anenské valley. Another place worth visiting is the canyon of the Kamenice River with its unique flat waterfall.
